Appointments. 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments, or you may be billed for the time. Please refer to your appointment confirmation email for details about your appointment and for access to our web appointment calendar.
Billing.
1. Billing is processed through PayPal, under the name Content Mastery Guide.
2. Prices are marked as either U.S. or Canadian dollars (convert).
3. For Canadian visitors, please note that GST will be applied to product orders and HST will be applied to service fees.
4. All invoices are due upon receipt.
5. Deposit payments and monthly subscription payments are non-refundable.
Conflicts of Interest. As Editor of the VOICE (or any other external publication), Linda Dessau will not accept submissions of any articles that we have been paid to edit, ghostwrite or improve in any way.
Disagreements. Any disagreements about the interpretation of these terms or your quote will be settled through informal binding arbitration, to be conducted by a mutually acceptable arbitrator.
Format and layout. Products are delivered as Word or .PDF documents, as per request. Writing services do NOT include any graphic design or layout.
Ghostwriting process. Typically, we will meet for one or more telephone writing sessions over the month to create content for your newsletter, blog or articles. Linda will take notes during your calls and turn those notes into a written draft for your review (typically in the next week following our call). Please plan sufficient time in your schedule for the calls and for the back-and-forth review process so that we can stay on track.
Liability. As the author, you accept sole responsibility and liability for the ideas and content in your writing projects.
Monthly fees. Monthly fees are paid via subscription payment in PayPal. Once you have made your first payment, PayPal will automatically charge you the same amount each month until you choose to cancel. You will receive a receipt for every payment, along with detailed instructions for how to cancel your payment. Monthly fees are not refundable. If your needs change, we will work something out so that you get value for what you have paid.
Ownership. As the author, you retain 100% ownership and copyright of all materials related to your writing project, including your ideas and any written materials.
Quotes. Quotes are based on the details we have discussed in our initial meetings and correspondence. If any of those details change, the quote is no longer valid. All monthly pricing will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it is still an accurate reflection of our work.
Team. Administrative tasks are provided by a team. Linda Dessau will personally review and approve every piece of work before it is submitted to you for your feedback.
